Privacy Notice

1. Who is responsible

The operator of ManyDocs is the controller of account and service-usage data described here. Privacy requests can be sent to [email protected]. Paddle separately controls payment data it processes as the authorised reseller.

2. Files processed locally

DOCX, ODT, XLSX, XLS, and ODS files selected in the generator are read and transformed in your browser. Their contents are not sent to ManyDocs servers. Closing or reloading the page clears files that were not explicitly saved.

• Generation and ZIP creation occur on your device.
• A visual DOCX preview is rendered locally.
• A template is sent to private Supabase Storage only after you choose “Save to account”.

3. Data we process

• Account data: email address, user ID, authentication events, and optional display name.
• Service data: plan, credit balance and ledger, monthly usage, generation authorization counts, saved-template metadata, and administrative audit records.
• Saved templates: template file, filename, size, and timestamps when you explicitly save one.
• Payment references: Paddle customer, transaction, price, and subscription identifiers and lifecycle events. ManyDocs does not receive complete card details.
• Technical data: hosting, security, and error logs that may include IP address, browser information, and timestamps.

4. Why we use data

• To create and secure your account and perform the service contract.
• To enforce usage limits, credits, subscriptions, and prevent duplicate charging.
• To provide optional template storage and account history.
• To prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
• To respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.

5. Service providers

ManyDocs uses Supabase for authentication, database, Edge Functions, and optional private template storage; Cloudflare for website delivery and security; and Paddle for checkout, tax, billing, receipts, subscription management, and refunds. These providers may process data in countries outside your own using their applicable safeguards.

6. Storage and retention

Account and entitlement records are retained while your account is active and afterwards when needed for security, disputes, audit, or legal obligations. Saved templates remain until you delete them or the account is deleted. Payment records are retained by Paddle under its own legal obligations. Local generator files are not retained by ManyDocs.

7. Cookies and local storage

ManyDocs uses browser storage for authentication state, language choice, and necessary service operation. Paddle and infrastructure providers may use necessary cookies or similar technologies during checkout, fraud prevention, and service delivery. ManyDocs does not currently use behavioural advertising cookies.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Contact [email protected] to exercise a right. Identity verification may be required.

9. Security and children

We use access controls, row-level security, private storage, and server-side authorization. No online service can guarantee absolute security. ManyDocs is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Updates

We may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
